PROFILE

Tani Kazuki

I was Born in Sapporo, Japan. Currently, I am a professor at Tamagawa University Faculty Graduate School and Representative of TOSS (Teachers’ Organization of Skill Sharing). After graduating from the Department of Elementary Education, Faculty of Education at Kobe University, I worked at a public elementary school in Hyogo Prefecture for 22 years. During that time, I completed a master’s degree in Education at Hyogo University of Education. I currently serve as President of the Japan Society for Educational Skills.

Activities / Specialities

My areas of expertise are classroom techniques in subject education (especially social studies education), classroom management, and development of teaching materials. In addition, from early on, I have been involved in educational practice and research in ICT education, STEAM education, and DX in education. Currently, I am also expanding my knowledge of AI education, including generative AI.

I have also been involved in planning and production of educational projects with companies, local governments, and public offices. Additionally I actively engage in exchanging educational practices with local schools and educational institutions overseas.
